How these pages are maintained

Our editorial method

  1. 01

One source of truth for every figure

The rates and thresholds quoted are not retyped into the text: they come from the same modules as the program pages and the calculator. Fixing a rate fixes it everywhere at once.

  2. 02

Every article carries its verification date

Not the publication date: the date the figures were checked against the official source. Tax parameters are indexed every year; an article without a year is a trap.

  3. 03

Primary sources are named and linked

Canada Revenue Agency, Revenu Québec, Investissement Québec, the Department of Finance. Never a blog post or a consulting firm's summary.
